Key Findings
<1%
Coke vs Cash gap
Cash trails Coke by $5,790 net per sell at crew + full lobby. Both should always be running. There is no scenario where you run one without the other.
4×
Coke vs Forgery at ceiling
Forgery's best case is $195,000/active-hr (solo, full lobby). Coke's is $1,200,000 (crew, full lobby). Forgery earns a fraction of Coke for identical active time. There is no scenario where selling Forgery product is the correct use of your time.
+35%
Front bonus impact
Without Smoke on the Water, Weed earns ~$702,840/active-hr crew/full. With it: $1,035,840. The 35% front bonus pushes Weed comfortably above Meth into rank 3 — own both front businesses if you sell Cash and Weed.
Concept — Reciprocity Cost
McKillsey — Reciprocity Cost
Every crew scenario carries a 30-minute total active time burden — not 10. If two crew members spend 10 minutes helping you sell, you owe them 20 minutes back. That is time you are not running your Agency, not doing Cayo, not doing anything productive. The sell time and the total burden are two different numbers. McKillsey tracks both.
Total Active Burden = Sell Time + (Helpers × Sell Time)
MC standard: 10 min + (2 × 10 min) = 30 min total
McKillsey Verdicts
Which Businesses to Run
Your portfolio should be shaped by your target minimum earnings per active hour. Coke is the best MC business in a normal week, Cash is second, then Meth, then Weed. For most active players, all four make sense — passive production runs in the background and the sell time is identical across businesses. For players with a higher time threshold, Coke and Cash alone may be the right call: Meth and Weed become marginal when you're choosing between a $964k/hr sell and a $1.2M/hr sell and your active time is limited.
The hierarchy is stable week to week. Weekly 2× events are the exception — they can be significant enough to reorganize session priorities. Check the McKillsey Weekly (/weekly) every Thursday for active bonuses.
On Document Forgery
Don't own it. If you already do — keep it fully stocked with product and leave it. Each player can raid a stash house once per day and receive free supplies to one random business. You never want that going to Forgery. A full product bar means the game cannot route supplies there. Keep it full and forget it exists.
On Front Businesses
The Hands-On Car Wash (+35% on Cash) and Smoke on the Water (+35% on Weed) are the primary reasons to own those fronts. Ownership alone applies the buff — no active management required. The Car Wash also generates its own passive income stream; to keep that flowing you need to wash a car occasionally to manage heat. Worth it for most players. Full Car Wash analysis on its own page.
