Special Orders

Nightclub Warehouse — Are They Worth It?
McKillsey Verdict — Skip Them

We modeled all 54 known special orders against the standard 20-hour sell cycle. Each order was simulated with optimal technician assignment: order goods produced to warehouse capacity, free techs on the highest-value alternatives, dynamic reassignment as techs complete their tasks. Tony's 10% cut (capped at $100K) is applied to each sell — both the special order and the remaining stock are separate transactions.

No special order beats the standard cycle on both $/passive hr and $/active hr. Only one order edges out the benchmark on passive rate — by 6%. Every single order is dramatically worse on $/active hr, with the average order delivering less than half the benchmark's active rate. The few orders with the least-bad active rates require 40–60 hours to fill, destroying your passive rate by 30% or more.

50 of 54 orders lose on both metrics simultaneously. The 5–20% bonus does not compensate for the inherent inefficiency of constraining your warehouse to a specific order composition. Sell your warehouse normally. Ignore special orders entirely.

Production Rate Gap
Coke produces $13,500/hr. Forgery produces $4,000/hr. 67% of orders require Weed or Forgery, pulling a tech off your top-5 lineup. The bonus cannot overcome the production hit.

Active Hr Collapse
Every single order delivers worse $/active hr than the benchmark. The average order pays less than half the standard rate. You're selling a fraction of your warehouse for a fraction of the payout.
Double Tony
A special order and remaining stock are separate sells — Tony takes his 10% from each. In the standard cycle, you sell everything at once and Tony is capped at $100K. Special orders let Tony double-dip.
50 / 54
Lose on Both Metrics
50 orders are worse on both $/passive hr and $/active hr simultaneously. The remaining 4 gain on one metric while being catastrophically worse on the other. No order wins on both.
Simulation Details

Each order is simulated minute-by-minute with 5 technicians. Three techs must cover the order's required goods; the remaining two are assigned to the highest $/hr goods not already covered. All techs produce to warehouse capacity — the order withdraws its required units at sell time, and remaining stock is sold separately. When any tech fills their good to warehouse max, they are dynamically reassigned to the next most productive available good.

Special order payouts are calculated using +35% MC-buffed nightclub warehouse values (Coke $27,000, Meth $11,475, Cash $4,725) with the listed bonus percentage applied. Non-MC goods (Cargo, Sporting, Weed, Forgery) use standard unit values. Tony's 10% cut (capped at $100K) is applied separately to each sell — the special order and the remaining stock are two transactions, each subject to their own Tony deduction. All figures are invite-only. The benchmark is the standard 20-hour top-5 cycle at $45,425/passive hr.
